Therapy
that I offer
The first thing you will hear on your first appointment is: what brings you to my office? During the conversation/interview, you will tell me about your problem and also about any previous ailments or injuries. All this information will allow me to analyse your problem in order to find the cause of the current condition. I will then carry out an examination and physiotherapy tests to make an initial diagnosis.
Based on the above, together we will determine the aim and course of therapy, which includes physical treatments, massage, soft tissue therapy and individualised exercises. During therapy, I follow the method of small steps, which means that we will gradually and
systematically adjust the therapy in order to build new, sustainable habits to get rid of the pain and return to fitness. You will get from me a lot of motivation and exercises tailored to your capabilities, which you will do at home. With each subsequent appointment, we will go another small step further until we achieve satisfactory results.

Methods I use during therapy:
deep tissue massage
breathing exercise
stretching exercises
kinesiotaping
PNF
shockwave therapy
individually-adapted exercise
physical methods: laser, ScanLab, electrotherapy

How to prepare for your
first appointment
During the first appointment, I take a thorough history of your ailment and your current
circumstances in life. That’s why you should think carefully about what your problem is, what your symptoms are, how long they have been occurring, when they get worse and whether there is anything that relieves them. Also, try to recall previous complaints – these may be relevant to your current symptoms. If you have previous medical findings such as MRIs, X-rays – bring them with you. During the first appointment, a full-body assessment is required, and I usually ask you to undress down to your underwear. Therefore, be prepared so that you do not feel uneasy. Take comfortable clothes with you that won’t interfere with your exercise.

Helseforsikring
I have an agreement with the vast majority of insurance companies in Norway where you can use your health insurance to cover treatment at a physiotherapist. The insurance companies have different procedures for registering a case and approving treatment. I would love to help and guide you!
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about using health insurance.
