About me
My name is Agnieszka Otta, I am an authorized physiotherapist with a master’s degree from the Medical University of Gdansk, Poland. Since 2018, I have run my own practice at Fjellheim Fysikalske Institutt – Kleppesto.

Qualified physiotherapist
In my day-to-day work, I meet people of different ages and with different ailments – always treating everyone individually with a great sense of empathy. I always look at a person holistically because the cause of the ailment is not always where the symptoms are. I also believe that there is no single right treatment method that suits every patient. That is why I select my working techniques and methods in each case after a thorough interview and examination. I believe this is the foundation of effective therapy. Equally important to me is educating and involving the patient in the therapeutic process – without this, the effects are often short-lived. Commitment is a key element here as therapy usually requires systematic and continuous work.
The philosophy
of small steps
My approach to therapy is based on the Kaizen philosophy – an effective method of making changes in small steps. My experience has taught me that providing therapy or training gradually and taking small steps allows the patient to achieve other small therapeutic successes. Small successes make us crave more. This is how I foster the motivation and willingness to continue working, making the changes necessary to consolidate the effects of therapy and prevent the recurrence of dysfunction.

In harmony
with nature
Privately, I am very open, positive and helpful, always trying to see the bright side of every situation. I seek to live in harmony with nature. I love walking… especially with my adorable dog, working in
my garden, dancing, talking and observing. For a long time, I have been fascinated with the relationship between the psyche and the body, and how one impacts the other. It is intriguing how the current pace of life and stress can affect our bodies and cause many ailments – I believe that taking care of your mental state can often have a strong impact on the success of therapy. And the other way around: by engaging in work on your body, you contribute to
a positive mood that will allow you to enjoy every day.
